How to use the 3M Underseal Rubberized Undercoating Black:

1. Remove rust, oil, and grease from surfaces and ensure they are clean and dry. It can be applied to bare or primed metal.
2. Sand the composite plastic surface with a medium grade abrasive for enhanced adhesion and sound deadening.
3. Shake the aerosol can for at least 60 seconds after the agitator ball moves freely.
4. Hold the can 10-12 inches from the surface for a uniform coating. Allow it to dry for 3-5 minutes before applying another coat.
5. Clear valve by inverting the can after use, and spray till it is free of material.
