3M Urethane Seam Sealers

The 3M Ultrapro Urethane Seam Sealer is a moisture-curing, one-part seam sealer that is designed for interior and exterior body seams. This non-shrinkable seam sealer is very flexible and has fast curing properties. Due to its excellent adhesion properties, the seam sealer works very well on primed and bare metal substrates. The quick curing properties of the seam sealer make painting easy. The urethane seam sealer features very low solvent percentage. Available in 310 mL flex foil packs

The 3M Ultrapro Urethane Seam Sealers can be applied to the following areas:

• Door skins
• Rear body panels
• Rocker panels
• Trunk seams
• Floor pans
• General purpose automotive seams

How to use the 3M Ultrapro Urethane Seam Sealers

• Lightly scuff the area
• Use soap and water to remove water soluble contaminants and follow it up with an appropriate 3M VOC compliant product
• Install foil package into the barrel of 3M Flexible Package Applicator Gun, P.N. 08398
• Cut a small opening at the top end of package and fold back the flaps
• Place nozzle (PN08188) over the opened end onto the gun barrel
• Replace the retaining collar
• Cut nozzle to provide desired bead size
• Apply seam sealer and tool (if necessary) to desired finished appearance. Water may be used to tool this product but not any alcohol as it could stop the curing process
• Wait for at least 30 minutes before painting
